Amber and Justin are planning an October wedding at The Canal, and I was so delighted to shoot this engagement session for them last weekend at Gasworks Park in Seattle. They are very obviously in love, and seemed at ease in front of the camera which was great! I loved hearing all about their love story and the sentimental details of their wedding plans. I had Emily J. along with me again, and she’s proving to be a great assistant.
When we moved in to our new place, it didn’t take me long to realize that there was a great little gown shop right down the street from us. Today I had the pleasure of meeting up with Lorie Britton of Ring Around the Rose. Lorie is a delightful person and a sensational florist with a great combination of creativity and technical mastery. I first met her at Voila! a few weeks back, and I thought it would be great to connect with her and learn a little more about her passion…Flowers! It was obvious when I arrived at her home studio that she truly is passionate about what
