EDIT: Drinks for Drinks is happening again in August 2012! Check out the details here. The original 2010 campaign surpassed $250,000 and you can learn more about the water projects that happened as a result of it as you navigate around the Drinks for Drinks campaign page!
Talk about a mountain of fun! Last night we had the privilege of photographing this concert held at Eastlake Church featuring the Kirkland cover band The Herding Cats. In all honesty, I had not heard of them before Eastlake started advertising this benefit concert event, and I didn’t know what to expect, but this was one rockin’ event! The Herding Cats were simply amazing, and it was clear everyone was enjoying themselves very much! We are totally excited to be involved in this cause because 1) we really believe in Charity: Water’s mission, 2) Eastlake is an amazing church to be involved in, and 3) the generosity of everyone involved completely blows me away. The Herding Cats Benefit Concert campaign has already raised over $140,000 for clean-water wells around the world, and last I heard, they are still counting! People continue to give generously to this important cause. Can you believe the original goal was to raise $25,000? Then $50,000? Silly goals! I am amazed at the generosity! Check out the campaign page if you would like to make a donation, and if you would like to join us at Eastlake for a Sunday service, we would love to have you!

Wow, this was just an incredible event. My husband, myself and our 14 year old daughter were priveleged to be there. We have been talking about it at our house all weekend. I love the photos.
