Sheila & Daniel | Engaged

July 6, 2011 / Engagements / Front Page

In late June, I met up with Sheila & Daniel in Downtown Seattle to capture them in love at their favorite restaurant Chez Shea and around Pike Place Market. They have an awesome sense of style, and are clearly adorable together! If you look through all the photos, you’ll find that Sheila dominates at thumb-war! They plan to wed next April at the beautiful Pan Pacific Hotel. Congratulations Sheila & Daniel!

Clise Mansion Wedding | Sabrina & Jeff

June 7, 2011 / Front Page / Weddings

A beautiful and heart-felt wedding took place just over a week ago at Clise Mansion. Sabrina & Jeff, two world-adventurers, were wed under surprisingly sunny skies even though the forecast predicted rain that day. We didn’t even know until a few hours before the ceremony if it would be inside or outside, but the weather cooperated nicely and allowed for the outdoor ceremony they planned. There were many touching moments, and so many fun personalized details incorporated into their day. Hope you enjoy this little glimpse into it. Congratulations Sabrina & Jeff!

Venue: Clise Mansion, Flowers: FENA Flowers, Cake & Catering: Landau’s Catering & Events, Dress: Lazaro, Live Music: Nova Devonie and Dave Keenan (ceremony), Tom Bennet and the Rolling Blackouts (reception), Rings: Custom-made by Goldmine Jewelers, Chairs/Rentals: AA Party Rentals, Paper Goods: DIY (bride & groom)

Engagement Photo Guest Signing Book | Sarah & Kevin

May 18, 2011 / Albums / Engagements

Coming up in July, Sarah and Kevin will be committing their lives to one another, and we’re so excited to be there to capture it all! I shot their engagement session last fall, but since their wedding will be here before we know it, I wanted to get their guest sign-in book designed and ready for them. I am in love with their photos, especially the ones by the river in the milky, glowing sunlight of the evening, and I wanted the design of the entire book to reflect a warm, sophisticated vibe.

A photo guest sign-in book is a great way to enjoy your engagement session images because you have them showcased in a bound book, with the little notes and signatures of all the guests who attend your wedding. Some couples choose this style of book over a traditional guestbook or signing mat, and it really is one of our favorite ways to add a little something special to the guest table at a wedding because the couple can enjoy it over and over again for the years to come.

Seattle Engagement Photography | Sabrina & Jeff

May 13, 2011 / Albums / Engagements / Front Page

Sabrina & Jeff are tying the knot in two weeks, and after rescheduling their engagement session several times due to weather, we finally made it out to Discovery Park on a dry-but-overcast day to capture them together. This adventurous pair has traveled all over the world together, and they plan to continue exploring new countries and continents together as husband and wife! We decided to incorporate some of the maps that are special to them into their engagement shoot, as well as some of the postcards they have collected from around the globe. One special part of their engagement is Sabrina’s one-of-a-kind ring. The diamond is from Jeff’s family and is a rare cut that doesn’t even have a proper name or classification and comes from old-world Europe, so they were told. I love the unique look of it! Here are some of my favorites from their session as well as the digital layout for the photo Guest Sign-In book I designed for them. The open and white spaces are there for guests to sign and leave them warm wishes as they begin a new chapter in their relationship. This style of book is a great alternative to having a traditional guest book. Congratulations Sabrina & Jeff!
